After 4 years in the cowboy business in southern Germany I have to pack my bags and say goodbye. It started in the kitchen - with me writing 7 songs for the new bands festival in Karlsruhe - can't believe they loved them and I was nominated and played my first show for the 300+ crowd. One year later they asked me whether I wanted to play at PLAY LIVE, the biggest regional newcomer festival in Germany. After playing all over the city in Karlsruhe, a lot of the bars along with Kippe, Jubez, Crazy Cong, Schlaile, both Irish Pubs O'Caseys and Scuffy's and Paisley Park, Scottish Pub, we went on a big southern Gemany street-tour with my friend and guitarist Luca. I want to thank especially Luca who probably was the musician who had the most impact on my music. I wrote the songs, but inspiration and ideas also come from the people around you. We played in Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Konstanz, Baden-Baden and many other cities and the ultimate proof of all this being a success is me still receiving emails to play at the American Days in Stuttgart, weddings, birthdays, driving school openings, and University events and stuff in Freiburg. I enjoyed the time and I will continue with songwriting and making music whereever I go, but every chapter has to end somewhere and I think this page would frankly make the nicest last page to this Germany chapter.
